The Under-17 Lions of Cameroon have inflicted a 4-1 defeat on local division 1 side Intare FC.
Intare meaning Lions in the local language in Rwanda is a top flight club but the Baby Lions ignored their opponents status this Saturday at the Stade Regional de Kigali.

A brace from Yannick Noah,a goal from Ben Nassorou and another from substitute Alioum who made his first appearance for the team in a month was enough for the Baby Lions to show how prepared they are for the upcoming Under-17 AFCON in Tanzania.
At Full Time coach Coach Thomas Libih expressed satisfaction about his players performance and the results.
“I am happy, we didn’t just win today,we played well, some of our important players featured for the first time in close to a month and their performance was encouraging”. “We have learned a lot in our time in Rwanda and will correct our errors in our last game in Tanzania”.
“I want to thank the organizers (FERWAFA & BINEWA Sports Management) for a job well done and we hope we will come back here again.”
Cameroon’s Under 17 team played 3 games in Rwanda, the team recorded victories in two games and suffered a defeat in 1.
Coach Libih’s boys scored 7 goals and conceeded 4 goals.
Cameroon leave for Tanzania on Sunday night and will continue preparation ahead of their first game against Guinea a week on Sunday.
