Monday, June 20, 2022, the Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon have left the shores of the country, headed for France where they will face their French equivalence in a warm up fixture to enhance preparations for their respective continental tournaments.
The Lions left the Douala International Airport via an Air France plane and headed for the French city of Beauvais, where they will face France.
The game scheduled this Saturday at the Stade Pierre Brisson will be the Lionesses’ third and final warm-up game before their AWCON 2022 opener against the Copper Queens of Zambia on July 3 while France will use the fixture as preparatory aid for Euro 2022.
19 players plus their staff and other members of the official delegation left country after weeks of camp. They will be joined by Aboudi Onguene and six other players plying their trade abroad.
They will leave France immediately after the friendly and move directly to Morocco to attempt to end their long search for the AWCON trophy through this 14th edition.
Cameroon is lodged in group B of the competition, alongside Zambia, Tunisia and Togo.
