The 1-1 draw pitting the Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon against the Wolmen’s Hawks of Togo have created some instability in the den with multiple media organs reporting that coach Gabrielle Zabo is no longer in charge of the team.
As a matter of fact Serge Roger Noah who heads the National technical Directorate of Cameroon football was spotted managing training on Thursday as the team prepares its final group game against Tunisia.
However per our findings, there was visible disssapointment in the den that Wednesday evening prompting the involvement of the DTN has a limit.
However, per our understanding Serge Noah will be closer to the team especially during training as part efforts lift the moral of the girls.
What Next
Given that CAF has already given accreditation to Gabriel Zabo as head coach of the competition, he is expected to be the trainer of Cameroon’s team till the end of the competition.
Gabriel Zabo is expected to face the media this Friday afternoon in the pre-match conference ahead of Cameroon’s next game.
Cameroon with two points currenty occupy the third spot in group B of the ongoing tournament going into their final group game against second-placed Tunisia this Saturday.
