Former TKC and Feutcheu FC of Djiko Bandjoun forward Ako Alexis has been confirmed as one of the close season recruits for Cameroon Elite One side Avion Academy of Douala.
Speaking to kick442.com about newly-signed players on Wednesday, for the 2020-2021 season, president Pierre Batamak of Avion Academy confirmed the Tiko-native has joined the Club on a one-year-deal.
The former National Polytechnic of Bambui winger is expected to provide greater spark in the final third for coach Charlemagne Mbongo’s Avion Academy of Douala when the new season gets underway this month.
He is one of multiple recent recruits at the Club as they prepare for the upcoming season.
Avion are preparing for their third season in the Cameroon Elite One championship having been promoted in 2018 alongside PWD of Bamenda and TKC.
Avion is Ako’s second top-flight Championship Club in his career.
