Retired Indomitable Lions of Cameroon and Demirspor defender Aurélien Bayard Chedjou Fongang has scored his first goal for the Turkish second tier Franchise.
Chedjou led the scoring in the 3-1 win at home in match-day 15 encounter.
Chedjou scored within 18 minutes of kick off following a well-worked move.
Seven minutes later Malian midfielder Hamidou Traoré made it two-nil for the host who looked to be cruising.
20-year-old Turkish midfielder Yunus Akgün scored the third struck half-time off an assist from Hamidou Traoré.
Demirspor protected the three-nil advantage till the break.
Upon resumption for the second segment, Tuzla looked a better side from the team in the first segment.
They had a pair of chances of their own but Chedjou and his mates at the back stopped the multiple incursions.
Thuram reduced the deficit for Tuzla in the 86th minute but the comeback wasn’t to be as the game ended on a 3-1 score for Demirspor.
35-year old Chedjou played the entire game and it was his third appearance of the season.
