Ghana Black Stars general captain and all-time leading scorer of the West African country has named his all time best eleven for Ghana.

Most of the names on Asamoah’s list are his teammates during his prime days for the national team.

Asamoah Gyan who currently plays for NorthEast United in India made this revelation during an interview in his native country.

Asamoah Gyan’s All Time Black Stars XI;

Richard Kingston
John Painstil
Hans Adu Sarpei
Samuel Osei Kuffour
John Mensah
Micheal Essien
Laryea Kingston
Stephen Appiah

Asamoah Gyan

Gyan was Ghana’s star at the 2006 and 2010 FIFA World Cups and participated in that tournament with must of the players he has included in his XI.

The record man included Ghanaian football legend Abedi Pele in his XI but surprisingly omitted his two sons with whom he has been in the national team for most part of his career.

Asamoah is Ghana’s all time scorer with 51 goals in 109 appearances including six world cup goals.
