AS Vita club players leaving their base in Yaounde

UMS of Loum’s CAF Champions League second leg host AS Vita Club of Kinshasa have left Cameroon for the DRC on Wednesday morning via the Nsimalen Airport.

The 31 persons delegation left Cameroon at 13 hours GMT on Wednesday via Ethiopia airways after spending 6 days in the country.

The Congolese giants held UMS of Loum to a virgin draw in Cameroon last week Sunday but stayed in the country for a few days after the game training at the FECAFOOT Technical Center in Odza Yaounde.

The boys of coach Florent Ibenge Ikwangwe will return home to meet their gaffer and colleagues who did not make the trip to Cameroon because of their participation at the 2019 AFCON. Coach Florent and the DRC 2019 AFCON squad members from AS Vita all resumed training on Monday in Kinshasa after enjoying a brief holiday.

UMS of Loum will travel to the DRC for a difficult clash at the Stade de Martyrs in Kinshasa with both sides needing to score to keep their hopes of staying in the competition alive.
