English Premier League side Arsenal have ended talks on a potential contract extension for Gabonese forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
The 30-year-old’s father Pierre Francois Aubameyang has advised him to stay with the Gunners.
The former Saint-Etienne and Borussia Dortmund forward has attracted interest from Real Madrid, Manchester United, PSG, Inter Milan and Chelsea.
Aubameyang is in the last year of his current contract with Arsenal and could walk away as a free agent at the end of next season.
The forward has scored 17 League goals this season and has totaled 20 in 35 appearances across all competitions.
Aubameyang is asking for a £200,000 a week wage but the club is not willing to offer him that especially after the expected consequences on the club’s finances as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic.
Reports from the Express suggests that the north London outfit has pulled out of talks for a possible contract extension with the Gabonese who joint them in 2018 from Borussia Dortmund.
