Union Sportive of Douala have picked up an impressive 2-0 win against struggling YAFOOT FC this Saturday in Match-day five of the 2020-2021 Cameroon Elite One championship.
Arouna Dang A Bissene led the show scoring in the first segment and providing the assist to kill the game as Richard Towa’s team dismissed YAFOOT FC.
The game got off to a good start for Union Sportive of Douala who dominated though having insufficient firepower to take their chances in the first 20 minutes.
New signing Arouna Dang gave the host a 24th minute lead from a solo effort.
The goal gave Richard Towa’s team the comfort to move around the ball the way they wanted as YAFOOT FC struggled to find their way back into the encounter.
The game stayed on the same score till the break with Union Sportive of Douala as the better side.
Both sides return for the second segment with interest of being more offensive.
The few stakeholders present had to wait till the 74th minute when substitute Lesley benefited from an assist from Arouna Dang to make it two-nil.
The game ended on the 2-0 score thus handing USD the first win in four outings this campaign.
USD are in the mid-table with five points to their credit so far this season.
