Cameroon Elite One side Bamboutos of Mbouda have completed the signing of veteran Cameroon defender Arnaud Djede Tchinda.
The sweeper joined the Mangwa Boys from rivals Astres football Club of Douala on a one-year-deal on Monday.
The 2015 cup of Cameroon winner becomes the Club’s second third signing of the current transfer window pending registration and medical formalities.
He replaces Ngombe Etame who left the Club for Cotonsport this window.
The 2016 Cameroon champion with UMS of Loum spent last season on the books of then second-tier side Astres of Douala.
The former Unisport of Bafang defender featured in 20 games in a season at Astres.
Noted for his robustness in defending and ability to to go in hard on forwards, Djede is a perfect partner for level-headed captain Rostand Moukap going into the new season.
Coach Laurent Djam has an excellent and experienced defender at his disposal for the new season expected to begin in the weeks ahead.
