Two times participant at the African Nations Championship, CHAN, Anye Fru Derick has revealed to that coach is Yves Clement Arroga’s boys have a burning desire to win and that could be decisive when the tournament begins.

Being one of the most experienced player in Cameroon’s 26-man squad currently in Congo Republic, the 25-year-old former Union Sportive of Douala captain who was at the 2016 and 2018 CHAN competition has sufficient experience to see details well ahead of time.

“It is talented group of players who have either achieved alot with their clubs are doing very well this season. It has been a great time with everyone and looking at the group in and after training, I can say there is huge desire to win in this team”:Anye Derick stated.

The goalkeeper has been a a sensation in the Cameroon Elite One championship this season. He has kept 10 clean sheets in 19 games league matches this season.

He is in his first training camp with the intermediate lions of Cameroon but hopeful of making the cut for the tournament on home soil.

Having been in this competition twice, it will be an honour to be involved in the event on home soil and why not win it before multiple expectant Cameroonians especially because it is one trophy we have never won”:Anye Concluded.

Cameroon will face Congo Republic on the 20th February, 2020 before returning home to face Rwanda four days later.
