“Yeah, we battled relegation last season, and it was a tough one.
But my stand next season is that nothing like relegation again.
We are coming out strong this time around.”She told kick442.com
Anu is also supporting the postponement of league matches in order to curb the spread of CoronaVirus (Covid-19) pandemic.
“It is good that the league is on hold to avoid the spread of CoronaVirus. We have to stay safe first, but self-training is what is sure for now. To keep fit, I do personal training.”
Dream Stars Ladies will play in Group B alongside Pelican Stars, Nasarawa Amazons, Sunshine Queens, Abia Angels, Confluence Queens and Edo Queens.
“Its a hard group but it’s still a challenge for me and my team to sit tight and to work extra ordinarily to meet up with other teams. It’s good that we will be playing 14 games this season which is an improvement on the 6 games played last season. I am not in support of 30 games seasons. I prefer 14 rather.”

“Well I can’t say much about the eventual result of our match with Bayelsa Queens. We will give out our best, and it’s a game I have been willing to play against one of the best teams in Nigeria.”
Adamawa Queens surprised Nigerian women football supporters by making it to the Super 4 last season, can Dream Stars Ladies emerge as the surprise package of the league next season. Time will tell as we all await the new date for the commencement of NWFL Premiership after COVID-19 pandemic.
