The president of Horoya AC of Guinea has offered the sum of One billion Guinea Francs [approximately 100 000 Euros] to the government of Guinea as part of his support in the fight against the CoronaVirus pandemic.
It is the second financial support Mamadou António Souare who doubles as the president of the Guinea football federation.
Last week, the 67-year-old Kindia native offered 300 Millions Guinean Francs to club to eight clubs in the regional championship as revenue to purchase kits to combat the spread of the CoronaVirus.
Mr Souare is the CEO of Guinea Business marketing and gave out the cash through the institution.
Noted for his media-attractive activities, the football administrator and business guru has kept his pace through this tough times.
Guinea battles with 579 cases of infected persons from which 87 persons have recovered and five died.
He joins a handful of Sports actors who have invested resources to combat the global enemy.
Souare’s philanthropic activities have earned him praises from Guineans from far and wide if not Africans.
