The head coach of the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon Antonio Conceicao Da Silva Oliviera has reached out to street children in different neighborhoods of Yaounde in the center region of the country.
The 48-year-old Portuguese trainer distributed a number of gifts to the have nots during an event organized on Saturday at the Omnisport Annex Stadium which was characterized by an exchange with the children and a football game.
Conceiçao shared with close to a hundred kids in an attempt to restore smiles on their faces.
The event was attended by current Indomitable Lions and Raja Casablanca defender Fabrice Ngah plus other members of the coach’s technical staff.
It is the first time such is taking place in decades and this has won plaudits for the astute tactician who did his best to keep the action off the attention of the media.
Conceiçao has had a successful stint as coach of the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon, helping his side win three of the six games he has been in charge and playing three draws.
