Former Nigeria Professional Football League ((NPFL) striker Anthony Okpotu has been rewarded for his great performance in the Tunisian top flight league by foot24.tn.
Okpotu grabbed his first award in Tunisia as the best foreigner this week through a voting process.
The process also had the best foreigner coach award category.
The former Lobi Stars player who ply his trade with US Monastir, is the leading goal scoring with ten goals as at the end of February, 2020.
The twenty six year old was the top scorer in the NPFL in 2017 were he was chosen has the most valuable player receiving golden boot of the League Bloggers Award in the same season.
He also was the first and only player to score three hat tricks in a season in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).
His goals has helped Union Sportive Monastirienne to be placed 4th on the log with 31 points after 16 matches.
