Djiboutian Premier League Champions Antar Solar 7 have opened a hunt for the services of 2017 African cup of Nations winner Jacques Zoua Daougari, kick442.com can report.
The 29-year old Cameroon international who is currently in contract with fourth tier Cameroonian side AS Futuro of Mfou.
Zoua who was a part of the Cameroon local team at the 2020 African Nations championship has been linked with transfer talks with a number of countries at home and abroad since after the tournament in February this year.
The Djiboutian Club have made it an open secret to get on board Cameroon personnel in their push to reach new heights after former Cameroon internationals Alexandre Song and Danny Nounkeu helped them win their first domestic title in 30 years during the 2020-2021 season.
This Pan-African Sports news agency recently reported another Cameroon international Idriss Carlos Kameni has agreed a two-year deal with the Club and in talks to sign former Indomitable Lions of Cameroon midfielder and coach of the Under-17 Lions Thomas Ngo Liibih.
Zoua, 29 years old started his football career with 15 times giants of Cameroon Cotonsport of Garoua in 2008. He has featured for eight clubs internationally making the most caps with Basel from 2009-2013, 84 appearances, scoring 14 goals.
The striker answered present with U20 lions in 2009 scoring thrice in seven appearances. With the indomitable lions From 2011, he made 26 appearances.
Solar 7 failed to impress in last year’s CAF Confederation but will represent Djibouti in the CAF Champions League in the upcoming season.
The Club is talking a two-year contract with the former FC Basel and Cologne forward.
