48 year old,Former Footballer, Ace Football promoter and Journalist,Mathieu Nathaniel Njog has on Wednesday evening been appointed as the SG General of FECAFOOT Littoral Region.

Njog, a Footballer in the early 90’s with 3rd Division side,Vautour SEC De Dschang now a fine Journalist for over 20 years now with huge experience in reporting and Football administration. He becomes the second Journalist to be handed the big office after Ndi Elvis was named to take up the same role at FECAFOOT North West last Month.

The New trend is now absorbing passionate people into the beautiful game.

Njog brings a huge Curriculum vitae to FECAFOOT Littoral Region.He was a part of the Cameroon delegation that won the AFCON in 2000 in Nigeria and 2002 in Mali. As a reporter he also covered the 2003 FIFA confederations cup competition which Cameroon won Silver after lossing Marc Vivian Foe and Losing to France in the final.

Away from International competitions,he has also organized many Football competitions including the Corpo Foot Event Affiliated to FIFPro which he has been involved in since 2010. He was once upon a time between 1993-1996 the Secretary General of one of the biggest holidays championship,the CIFOCA championship.

In addition he has been Secretary General of Amateur side,ASOC FC in 2009,he is the current SG of Cameroon Association of Sports Journalists, The National Syndicate of Journalists in Cameroon and won the Cameroon Sports Journalist of the year award in 2003 and 2004.

“I am honoured to be given this responsibility,my job is on the statutes of the League to see that competitions are properly organized and managed.” I need the support and advice of all Football actors to accomplish this mission,Njog told kick442.com just after his appointment on Wednesday.

The Littoral Regional championship now Under President Emmanuel Louga is one of the best in the country as per results,the last two clubs that have represented the Region at the National playoffs for a place in the second tier competition in Avion Academy and Leopards Sportive in 2016 and 2018 respectively all qualified for League 2.

The New SG has a duty to run the affairs of FECAFOOT to enhance development of Football in the region.
