Indomitable Lions of Cameroon and Fulham FC of London midfielder Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa was amongst the most influential players in Wednesday’s three goals encounter between his Club and Premier League leaders Manchester United FC.
Anguissa on the occasion of his 18th league appearance of the season needed just five minutes to register his third assist of the season as his side took a shock lead against United through Ade Lookman at the Craven Cottage.
Veteran Uruguayan forward Edison Cavani replied 17 minutes later for the visitors, making it 1-1.
The score was unchanged till the break but there was still much drama reserved for the second segment.
Pogba scored the winner for United in the 65th minute of the game, crowning the side’s efforts all night.
United came close to scoring again on a pair of occasions but it wasn’t to be as it ended on a 2-1 score.
The defeat leaves Anguissa’s Fulham FC on the 18th spot on the log with just 12 points from 22 games ahead of their fourth round FA cuptie against Burnley FC on Sunday at the Craven Cottage.
