French Ligue 1 outfit LOSC Lille has completed the signing of 18-year-old former Angola Under-17 winger Pedro ‘Capita’ Osvaldo on a five-year-deal deal, kick442.com can report.
The erstwhile 1° De Agosto winger moves to the North of France on from third tier Portuguese outfit CD Trofense where he was last season.
Capita initially attracted attention during the 2018 COSAFA Under-17 championship as a part of the Angola team that left a lasting impression in that tournament.
The swift forward carried his form to Tanzania in last year’s CAF Under-17 AFCON tournament.
The boy scored five goals in the tournament, and ended the competition as the lead scorer as his nation picked up the Bronze medal.
Capita kept his fine form, and showed the class in him is permanent during last October’s Under-17 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.
Lille confirmed his acquisition this Thursday, July 2 and stated that he will start his development with the reserves team for the upcoming season.
Financial details concerning the deal hasn’t been made public.
Kick442.com understands, the other of the ‘dangerous’ Angolan duo, Zito Livumbo, of 1° Agosto is on the radar of a handful of European Clubs.
