Former Astres of Douala defender Ange Joel Tchoffo Kuete, 21 has completed a switch from New Stars of Douala where he spent last season to second tier Moroccan side Kenitra Athletic Club.

It is a second consecutive summer that a player is switching from the Cameroon League 1 championship to the club as he follows the footsteps of Jean Joseph Kombous last summer.

Tchoffo has penned a 3 year deal with the club giving the former Cameroon Under 20 Lion a real chance to settle in and roar.

“The Rock” as he is funly called has the duty to pay back his new employers in his first real job experience away from home.

He joins the huge community of Cameroonian players who have recently switched or settled in Morocco for either the league 1 or league 2 championship in the country.
