Azerbaijani top-flight Championship side Kesla FK have completed the signing of 24-year-old Cameroon forward Anatole Bertrand Abang.
The Club confirmed the player’s acquisition on Thursday as they look for options to boast their frontline this season.
The striker has joined the Club as a free agent weeks after he parted company with Moldovan side Shériff Tiraspol on mutual consent.
The native of Yaoundé-Cameroon scored five goals and assisted three in a short stint at Shériff in which he featured in eight matches.
The former New York Red Bulls striker joins a handful of Cameroonian footballers in Portugal.
Kesla becomes the player’s 9th Club in the past five years beginning from Rainbow FC in 2015.
The six-capped Cameroonian with one goal for the five-time African champions has been out of international football since November 2016 when he played 45 minutes in a 1-1 draw with Zambia in a World Cup qualifiers game in Limbe.
He is just 24 and likely to be back in the den one day.
