Nigeria Amputee Football team to the ongoing Amputee African Cup of Nations (AFCON) currently holding in Angola, the Special Eagles were held to a 0-0 draw by Tanzania on Sunday, October 6, 2019.

This will be the team third game of the tournament after winning their first two (2) games, 1-0 victory over Liberia followed by a 2-1 triumph over Cameroon yesterday with goals from Kelvin Kingsley and Kennedy Ezeji.

Nigeria now leads the overall table with seven (7) points in three (3) games ahead of host Angola with four (4) points (2 games). Tanzania and Sierra Leone also amassed four (4) points so far in the tournament. Liberia has three (3) points from two (2) games while Cameroon are yet to have any point in their three (3) games thus far.
