Nigeria Amputee Football team, Special Eagles have qualified for the semi final of the ongoing Amputee African Cup of Nations (AFCON) holding in Angola.

The team defeated Sierra Leone 1-0 on Monday, October 7, 2019 to book a semi final spot. Kelvin Kingsley scored the only goal of the game for Nigeria.

After 1-0 and 2-1 victory over Liberia and Cameroon respectively, Nigeria were held to a 0-0 draw by Tanzania before beating Sierra Leone 1-0.

Special Eagles now have 10 points from 4 games and will play host and world champions, Angola in their next match on Tuesday, October 8, 2019.
