Ampem Darkoa has won the 2021/2022 Ghana Women’s Premier League on Saturday after defeating Hasaacas Ladies on penalties.
The Northern Zonal Champions played out a 1-1 draw before clinching the title on penalties.
Hasaacas Ladies took the lead in the 19th minute via Success Ameyaa who scored from the penalty spot.
Comfort Yeboah equalised for Ampem Darkoa which took the game into extra time and deciding penalty kicks.
Ampem Darkoa Ladies emerged victorious 5-3 on penalties to win the league title.
The team will represent Ghana at the 2022 West Africa Football Union (WAFU-B) Zonal Qualifiers for the TotalEnergies CAF Women’s Champions League.
