Buea United’s go-to-guy Amih Renzo completed a one of a kind hat-trick for his club, against Dynamic Football Club on match day 2 of the Southwest regional championship.
Amih Renzo scored the curtain raiser for his side from the penalty spot at the 34th minute before he added two more in quick succession from the 68th to the 78th minute.
After his sublime performance, the striker told kick442.com: “It was a nice feeling to have scored a hat-trick. After the game against H.O Academy, I needed to step up my game, though the objective was not scoring a hat-trick per se, but ensuring that our team won.”
When asked about how he felt having achieved the feat, the attacker continued: “as attackers, we are always happy when our work is rewarded. I know my qualities and equally know that I am going to be amongst the top goalscorers come the end of the season. Our objective like every other team is to represent the southwest,” Buea United’s priceless gem concluded.
Amih Renzo is quickly becoming a relevant conversation in the talk of the golden boot this season and so is his team Buea United – making their intent to represent the southwest, quickly known after back-to-back league wins.
