Ambroise Oyongo Bitolo scored an own goal in Montpellier’s win against freshly ordained French winning capital club (PSG).
The Cameroon international scored what would be described by the Montpellier faithful as an ‘unwanted’ goal at the 12th minute of play before goals from P. Kimpembe, D. Delort, and S. Kamara vindicated the fullback of the grievous sin committed (putting the ball passed his own goal keeper).
The 27 year old has already scored two goals for Montpellier_which is exceptional for a left back_but his third is an own goal which would not be one to remember.
A full house of stade de la mosson witnessed the continues deep in form of PSG loosing the second game in a row after Rennes beat them to the French cup.
The victory means Montpellier maintains 5th place on the log and moves up to 54 points, 5 points behind Saint Etienne in 4th position. PSG remains the undisputed champions with a Europa league place almost secured for Oyongo Bitolo and teammates.
