Manchester United new boy, Amad Diallo has rejected the opportunity to play for Italy’s U21, expressing his desire to represent Ivory Coast in the process.
Diallo received a call from thehe U21 staff of Italy called Amad Diallo yesterday’s afternoon to represent their country at Euro U21 which will start on March 24th but he declined and let the staff know that playing for Côte d’Ivoire has always been a dream for him.
The young star who have been with Manchester United U23 since his move from Atalanta bagged three assists and scored a goal himself as Manchester United’s Under-23s fought back from 4-2 down to seal a late 6-4 victory against Blackburn Rovers, yesterday.
He has now scored and assisted three times since his debut against Liverpool U23 where he netted twice.
Ahmad Diallo have also been included in Manchester United’s Europa League squad by Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
