25-year-old Cameroonian defender Alvine Njolle has expressed her happiness about her club’s strong start to the 2020 season in the Belarusian Women’s top-flight Championship and indicated her quest to reach new heights.
The FK Minsk center half scored one of Minsk 10 goals on Friday as her side crushed Dnepr Mogilev 10 nil in an impressive season opener.
Njolle matched her plans with actions in the 33rd minute when she powered home her club’s fourth on the rampant afternoon.

30-year-old Nigerian forward Emueje Ogbiagbevha scored thrice while Kharlanova A, Khimich T, Pobegailo A, Vogu Ch, Tikhan V, and Shmatko L. brace completed the rout in a near perfect start for the defending champions.
Speaking after the game, Alvine Njolle who is her fifth season with the club sounded as motivated as never before.
“It was a strange pre-season for us with rhe CoronaVirus pandemic affecting our families around the world, but all ended well and we have started. Today’s scoreline may flatter some of those who did not watch the game. But truly it was a difficult game for us. They made it difficult for us but in particular phases of the game we employed our experience to our good.
The goal makes the start more beautiful for me. This season is a special one for me, I have been here for four years, that makes me one of the experience players here.
“So I want to take more responsibilities this year, scoring goals though from the defense role one of the new targets for this season. I want to reach new heights this year. I dedicate my goal and the victory to families that have lost their love ones and the Medical practitioners giving their all in the fight against the CoronaVirus pandemic”Njolle told kick442.com.
Njolle had a reference performance as she scored once and played a part in two other goals.
She has won 12 titles in what can be described as a successful four seasons at the Stadion FK Minsk.
Their comprehensive 10-0 win over Dnepr Mogilev in the opener of this season’s Belarus Vysshaya Liga Women is a strong signal from Njolle and her mates.
It was also great day the Nigeria’s Chioma Wogu who scored on her league debut.
Minsk challenge Bostof in their next game on May 10.
Belarus is one of the few countries where football matches are currently going on in spite of the fact that novel CoronaVirus pandemic cataclysmic effects on major sporting events. Most football and sports events across the globe are currently on hold in order to curb the spread of COVID-19 pandemic.
