Indomitable Lions of Cameroon full-back Alan Romeo Nyom was one of the propellers in Getafe’s three-nil win at home to Real Betis on Tuesday evening in match-day two of the Spanish LaLiga Championship.
The 31-year-old former Watford and Granada right-back was at the center of his Club’s win as his assist to forward Angel led to his side’s first goal in the 13th minutes of the game.

Betis looked second best all night failing to get hold of the pace of their opponent and the Getafe defensive formation Nyom was part of.
Two goals from former Barcelona midfielder Marc Cucurella Saseta and Angel again in the 39th and 42nd minutes put the game to bed in by the end of the first half break.
The second-half didn’t provide the same goals spark as the first.
The brace getter Angel was replaced in 73rd minutes with the points nearly secured.
Algerian defender Aïssa Mandi was sent off in the 83rd minute following a second booking, forcing Betis to finish the game with 10.
Alan Nyom was also replaced with four minutes on the clock, the points save and secured.
Both sides wasted opportunities in the second segment, leaving the full-time score at three-nil for the host.
Though they have played a game less than second-seeded Valencia, both sides are tied on seven points but a superior goal difference for Getafe puts them atop ahead of a trip to 5th-placed Real Sociedad on Saturday.
Nyom has featured in all three LaLiga games for Getafe CF this season.
