Playing away from Home soil, Association Sportive d’Arta from Djibouti suffered a scathing defeat in the hands of AL mokawloon in their second leg preliminary round of the CAF confederations cup competition.
The lone goal for AS Arta7 was scored in the 80th minute of play by G Dadzie, main while goals from A Daouda (2goals), S Jaziri (2goals), F Kabore (1goal), M Essam (1goal), F Nagah (1goal), A EL Shemi (1goal), K Mostafa (1goal) ensured highrachy was respected.
AS Arta thus bowed out of the competition with a negative goal difference of -9 haven suffered a one nil defeat few days earlier in Djibouti during the first leg tie.
The presence of former indomitable lions of Cameroon and Ex Arsenal football club of England star Alex song wasn’t enough to inspire the ambitious and little known Djibouti outfit to victory.
