Indomitable Lionesses head coach Alain Djeumfa has told the media that he keeps a good relationship with his players and insists there is no problem between him and his star forward Farida Machia Machia.

Reacting to questions from popular radio journalists Guy Roger Obama, the coach dismissed media claims all is not well between him and the Braga forward.

“I know Farida very well, we worked together in the military team,we worked together at the military World Cup in France, we have a working relationship”.

Farida is currently in the squad ,I know her better than everybody,if she gets a her chance tomorrow, I am sure she will be excited to represent Cameroon and she will prove what she is capable of doing, for now there is no problem between Farida Machia and myself”.

Farida Machia Machia was left on the bench for 90 minutes away to Ethiopia but is amonsgt the 18 players retained for the game.

There has been a public outcry for Farida’s inclusion in the Cameroon team as pundits think she can be as good for Cameroon as she is for Braga.

Farida has been recalled to the Lionesses Den for the first time in 3 years following a standout campaign with Portuguese side Braga with whom she did the domestic double of League and Super Cup in Portugal.

Speaking about the 4 additional players, “they have a slightly better level than some of our local players, they bring alot to our team but we have to analyze everything tomorrow and see how to impose our style”

Coach Alain Djeumfa will be in the Mfadena dugout for the first time as the head coach of the Indomitable Lionesses of Cameroon this Tuesday. His team goes out in search of his first win against an African side since he was appointed to replace Joseph Ndoko just before the Women’s World Cup.
