48 year old Tunisian Tactician,Nabil Kouki has been recalled to the dugouts of Sudanese giants Al Hilal Omdurman,he will replace his compatriot Irad Zaafouri who was sacked last week following a streak of poor results.
It will be the third time coach Nabil is working for the club as coach after previous spells in 2015 and 2017.
The newly appointed coach was a great player in his days as a footballer. He won three Tunisian cup,one League title,one super cup,one Arab club Championship and an Arab cup winners cup but as a coach,he is still to replicate this successes.Coach Kouki can boast of one Tunisian League title success in 2008 and a super cup won in the same year all with Sfaxien where he was also runners up in the CAF Confederation cup in 2010.
The former midfielder now coach has managed over 10 clubs in his career and now rejoins an Al Hilal side needing all of his experience especially with the Club’s desire to get better results and have a good run in the CAF confederation cup. Al Hilal has been in Zambia since after their last official game on Wednesday in which they were beaten by Nkana FC.
The club face Zesco United this weekend and kick442.com has gathered that coach Kouki has already joined the team in Zambia.
Al Hilal,Nkana FC,Zesco United and Asante Kotoko are all on three points from two games ahead of this weekend’s CAF confederation cup clashes.
