European Giant, Ajax Amsterdam of Holland has ended the contract arrangement they had with just recovered Moroccan player, Abdehalk Nouri.
Reports have it that Ajax had terminated the contract of the Ajax after paying his salary but have now formally cancelled the contract, which was due to automatically renew on 1 July, the Dutch media reported on Tuesday.
According to Independent, there has been a lengthy dispute between Ajax and Nouri’s family, who are looking for a settlement after Ajax previously admitted providing “inadequate” on-field medical treatment for Nouri after the midfielder collapsed during the pre-season friendly against German club Werder Bremen in July 2017 in Austria.
Kick442.com had reported that On July 8, 2017, Abdelhak Nouri hit the deck in an awkward fashion without contact in Ajax’ friendly encounter against German side Werder Bremen.
Nouri was diagnosed of Cardiac arrhythmia, and the situation left from bad to worse as he sustained a severe and permanent brain damage five days after the horror incident.
He made his first appearance at the age of 16 with 15 appearances in the 2016/2017 season at Ajax.
