Indomitable Lioness of Cameroon and Atletico Madrid forward Nchout Njoya Ajara scored twice and assisted on debut for Atletico in a comfortable 3-0 win away at Levante this Saturday evening.
The lethal forward needed 22 minutes of her time on the pitch to get off the mark for the ladies from the capital city.
Ajara doubled Atletico’s lead in the 22nd minute of the game barely four minutes after she had assisted Deyna Castellanos for the opener.
Ten minutes later, Ajara made it three nil for the host thanks to a second assist from A Silva.
The first segment of the game ended on a three-nil score as none of the two sides found the back of the net again before the break.
Ajara stayed into the game chasing a hat-trick which should have been his first in Spanish football.
The forward’s extra push for another goal forced her into fouling which led to her booking in the 69th minute of the game.
Ajara made way for Nigerian forward Rasheedat Ajibade in the 82nd minute after doing the job for Atletic of Madrid.
The three-nil win hands the maiden super copa trophy to Atletico Madrid and it is Ajara’s first trophy in Spanish football barely days after her arrival.
