21 year old Malian striker,Aissata Traore has over the weekend agreed a 6 months deal to join Turkish Top flight side,Besiktas Ladies.

The young striker was one of two Super Lionnes of Mali strikers picked by Coach Saloum Mohamed for the 2018 AWCON in Ghana.The pacy forward introduced herself to the continent in style with a goal on her AWCON debut against Vice then Champions,Cameroon and was named in the CAF team of the first games of the tournament.

Another Malian forward,Bassira Toure has also moved to Spanish side,Malaga CFF.

Besiktas currently occupies the 2nd spot in the top flight championship in Turkey,the club is 2 points away from table toppers Konak Belediyespor

The Championship resume this weekend after an over a month break.

Aissata follows the likes of Ada Jacquette and Henriette Michelle Akaba, all African strikers who have played for this club.
