Bamboutos FC of Bamenda have completed the signing of veteran forward Aime Gerard Mangolo,34 on a season deal.

The former YOSA of Bamenda ,Avion of Nkam and Leopard of Douala forward joins Bamboutos FC as a free agent after leaving Cotonsport of Garoua at the end of his contract in June 2019.

Mangolo finished the 2018 season in Cameroon as the top scorer in the League 2 championship with 20 goals for Avion of Nkam earning him a move to Cotonsport of Garoua but he failed to impose his class while he was in Garoua.

The forward was restricted to the bench most often that limiting him to just 15 appearances for the club from which he scored 6 goals.

Manolo who won the 2013 cup ofΒ  is among Cameroon trophy with YOSA is amongst a battery of new signings whose arrival was announced on Monday.

Midfielder Mark O’Ojong,right back Gael Eroume from Avion Nkam,defenders Jeff Ngongang and Ngombe Etame,Midfielder Aristide Medjo from New Stars of Douala,goalkeeper Kibyen Leonel another ex New Stars and Forward Kami Nyabeye were all presented to the media on Monday as new boys for coach Laurent George Djam.

Ngombe Etame is reuniting with Bamboutos FC’s Administrative Secretary Kuate Yaro with whom he won the league at Eding Sport de la Lakie in 2017.

Bamboutos FC is currently engaged in their preseason training under coach Djam and his subordinates in Douala.
