CAF president Ahmad Ahmad in a press outing in Cairo Egypt has just told kick442.com that he was worried about two things at the beginning of the first ever 24 team tourney in Egypt
In his own words he said: “I was worried about two things in the beginning. I can’t hide it, refereeing and security but today am a satisfied man”.
President Ahmad Ahmad continued: “I thank the Egyptian government for the ample security and the referees for a job well done“.
The security in a country in Egypt considered insecured has been topnotche, plus some excellent display from the men in black and the whistle. Alioum Alioum Sidi of Cameroon started the tournament in the opener as the central referee and would do same in some few hours when Algeria log horns with Senegal for the trophy.
