The Nigeria U23 team have arrived in Tunis, Tunisian capital, the venue of their Confederation of Aftican Football (CAF) U23 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) Qualifying game against Libya. The team safely arrived Tunis on Monday evening.
Foreign professionals that have joined the team in Tunis includes: Kelechi Nwakali, Samuel Chukwueze (Villarreal), Azubuike Okechukwu, Dennis Bonaventure and Taiwo Awoniyi.
Other foreign based players expected to join the team tomorrow are: David Okereke, Kingsley Michael and Orji Okonkwo. The team will train tomorrow at 4pm.
Nigeria U23 team will play Libya U23 team on Wednesday March 20, 2019 in her quest to qualify for U23 AFCON which will also serve as qualifiers for 2020 Tokyo Olympic games football tournament in Japan.
