Young Pharaohs of Egypt emerged bronze medalist at the FIBA U18 Afrobasket Championship holding in Egypt.
After losing to Mali on Tuesday in the semifinal match, Egypt bounced back to take bronze in the third place match against Guinea.
Mohab Abdalatiff’s man of the match performance took the host to a 72-55 win on Wednesday.
He scored 29 points, 9 rebounds and 2 assists in the tie.
At half time, it was Egypt who led by 36 points to Guinea’s 26.
Egypt continued it dominance in the second half by increasing the lead to emerge victorious at the end of the game.
