With recent news linking Emmanuel Adebayo to Asante Kotoko, can we now say African football is progressing?
Few weeks back, it was former Ghanaian captain Asamoah Gyan who signed for Ghana Premier League side Legon Cities on the local transfer deadline day, then former Cameroon International, Alex Song follow suit by joining Arta/Solar7 in Djibouti.
It’s no doubt that both Gyan and Song will increase the fans base of the clubs they joined and also the followers of those league which will go along way in improving the leagues and also help attract investors.
It’ll even be more bigger than expected if Emmanuel Adebayo should join Asante Kotoko, remember Sulley Muniru the younger brother of Sulley Muntari also joined Kotoko this month.
With these big guys coming in, the continent will attract big investors which will really be a good development for our football.
