The 2022 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations semifinal between hosts Morocco and record holders Nigeria had 45,562 people in attendance.
Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium was filled to the rafters as the Atlas Lionesses ejected the Super Falcons on Monday to set a record attendance ever in the history of African Women’s football.

On the other hand, England against Austria in the 2022 Women’s Euro opener set a record attendance as far as Women’s football in Europe is concerned.
As the England Lionesses edged Austria 1-0 on July 7, 2022, Manchester United’s Old Trafford was filled to capacity with 68,781 fans in attendance.
