23-year old Isamaila Sarr, Senegalese and Watford forward has joined the Teranga lions in camp ahead of their quarter-finals fixture against the Nzalang Nacional of Equatorial Guinea slated for January 30th at the Ahmadou Ahidjo stadium.
Sarr was initially suppose to join his peers in Cameroon, but was picked up by a minor injury during a Premier League derby beating Watford against Manchester United.
The prolific and talented forward’s arrival in coach Aliou Cissé’s squad, could boost the lion’s forward compartment headed by Sadio Mane.
The Senegalese side had succeeded in safeguarding a qualification ticket for the quarter-finals, after trashing a nine-man Cape Verdian team by two goals to nil on Tuesday.
