The Under-20 Lions of Cameroon have begun training ahead of the 2021 Under-20 African cup of nations in Mauritania.
The boys of coach Christophe Ousmanou returned to the CAF Excellence center in Mbankomo-Cameroon on Wednesday afternoon for training ahead of the February 14 event.
Cameroon, the new-crowned champions of the the Central African regional tournament enter camp with a 32-players squad ahead of the eight-nations tournament.
The tournament kicks off on February 14th in Mauritania and is expected to run to the emd of the month.
Mauritania are host and managed by Cameroon-born trainer Mesack Njoya and are seen as Cameroon’s major challengers for the title.
The following twelve teams qualified for the final tournament dating back to the 1991 edition.
