The Malawi Football federation is reportedly in talk with Spanish trainer Jordi Condom Auli ahead of the 2021 African Cup of Nations Tournament in Cameroon.
kick442.com has learned from African Sports today that officials of the Malawian Football Federation have reached out to the trainer for negotiations which could see him become their trainer before next year’s tournament.
Reports say the native of Palomos-Spain is a priority to replace out of favour Meke Mwase whose results during the just-ended 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers were far from inspiring.

Condom has a vast experience in coaching – since joining the trade in 2002 through the Barcelona Academy, he has been trainer of Eupen and Palamos first teams.
He currently manages at Belgian top-flight outfit Seraing, has no experience as a National team and has never worked in Africa.
It will be tough for the Malawian Football Federation to secure the services of the trainer especially as the AFCON will be going on simultaneously with the European domestic Championships, but stranger things have happened in football.
Malawi who only won one of their six FIFA World Cup qualifier games will be in Group B of the upcoming AFCON tournament, alongside Zimbabwe, Guinea and Senegal in Bafoussam.
