Official of the Guinea Bissau Football Federation have announced a pre-AFCON 2021 friendly pitting Djurtus to the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon.
According to the Guinea Football Federation, the January 3 encounter in Yaounde will serve as a teaser for coach Guirlheme Farina and his players.
Cameroon is who recently named a 40-man provisional squad for the AFCON will open camp for preparations on December 26 at the Mundi Sports complex in the outskirt of Yaounde.
Captain Jonas Mendes and his Guinea colleagues will arrive Cameroon in the last week of December.
Guinea are in Group D of the tournament and will be one of four nations to lodge in Garoua.
They will face Sudan, Nigeria and seven times champions Egypt in the group stages of the 24-nations event penciled for January 9 to February 6, 2022.
Host Cameroon is gunning for a sixth crown in starting the group stages in group A alongside Burkina Faso, Cape Verde Islands and Ethiopia.
The Indomitable Lions open their camp on January 9, against Burkina Faso in a repeat of the opening fixture of their 2017 AFCON. Vincent Aboubakar and mates face returning Ethiopia on January 13 and cap the group stages against Cape Verde Islands.
