The indomitable Lions of Cameroon will return to thr country this Tuesdsy to finalize preparation and formalities before heading away to Egypt to defend the country’s 2017 AFCON Title.

The boys of Coach Clarence Clyde Seedorf have had weeks of preparation for the 2019 AFCON in Spain and Qatar but the team is expected to touch down at the Nsimalen-Yaounde airport on Tuesday evening.

The team will stay in Yaounde and continue regular training sessions until Wednesday when they will bid farewell to the Cameroonian football public and get the public’s blessings ahead of their departure to Egypt on Thursday June 20th.

Their time in Cameroon will be marked by the ceremony of the signing of the new kits contract with French supplier Le Coq Sportif at Hilton Hotel at 10:00 AM on Wednesday and subsequent presentation of the new equipment to the team.

5 times champions of the continent,the Lions will be in Ismaily when the 32nd Edition of the the one month long AFCON begins in Egypt on the 21st June 2019.

Cameroon will face Benin,Guinea and Ghana in the group stage of the 24 Nations Championship.
