Out sources in Egypt have confirmed that Nigeria’s head coach, Gernot Rohr has said he will make a statement about his future on Wednesday.
Despite the statement from NFF President, Amadu Pinnick, Rohr has declared that he will make a statement about his future with the Super Eagles ahead the third place match against Tunisia.
When asked about his future with the Nigerian team in Egypt, Gernot Rohr; “I will communicate my decision after tomorrow’s game.”
The ex-German player has seen his future gone blink after the loss against Tunisia in the semi finals.
The Nigeria Football Federation president Amaju Pinnick had disclosed earlier this Tuesday that he had no intention to sack the manager as the team is in progression since he took over as Coach.
For many Nigerians the German tactician has done well taking an average team to such a height as the semi ifinals of the AFCON.
While for some, he has not met expectations as his tactics have not been up to scratch.
Ahead of the game against Tunisia which the gaffer has said the team wants to win, it remains to be seen what the outcome of Wednesday ‘s post match press conference will be after Rohr makes his announcement.
