Just like the last time, no Nigerian Referee is found good enough to officiate at AFCON2019 after CAF released the officiating list today.

The 26 man list of referees and 30-man list of assistant referees saw the names of Nigerian Referees conspicuously missing.

Nigerian Referees missing international tournaments is gradually becoming a norm.

The list comprises of referees from Egypt, Algeria, Angola, Burundi, Botswana, Cameroon, Gambia, Tunisia, Mali, Madagascar, Ethiopia, Mauritius, Senegal, Mauritania, Dr. Congo, Seychelles, Morocco and South Africa.

While for the assistant referees, the list has referees from Egypt, Tunisia, Morocco, South Africa, Chad, Algeria, Comoros, Eritrea, Guinea, Kenya, Lesotho, Libya, Madagascar, Mozambique, Niger, Sudan, Uganda and RDC.

Experienced Cameroonian Referee Alioum Siddi Neant is leading the Cameroon delegation of 3 referees amonsgt which are 2 assistants. Alioum will be participating in the tournament for thr 6th time and he is joined by Mekouande Evariste and Noupoue Guy Elvis all of the Cameroon team of officials.

The above Officials will manage games in the upcoming event.

The 2019 African Cup of Nations will take place in Egypt between June 21 and July 19.
