China base Odion Jude Ighalo and Arsenal of England forward Alexander Iwobi have both arrived Super Eagles of Nigeria camp ahead of the team Friday AFCON Qualifying game against Seychelles.
The team camp in Asaba, Delta State opened on Monday, March 18, 2019 for Friday’s 2019 AFCON Qualifiers against Seychelles as well as for the international friendly game against Pharaoh’s of Egypt.
Already in Super Eagles camp;
Odion Jude Ighalo, Alex Iwobi (Arsenal FC, England), Semi Ajayi (Rotterham, England), Ikouwem Udo (Enyimba International, Nigeria), Valentine Ozonwafor, Ikechukwu Ezenwa and Daniel Akpeyi (Kaizer Chiefs, South Africa).
More foreign based players are expected to join the team ahead of both clash against Seychelles and Egypt.
Nigeria leads her 2019 AFCON Qualifiers Group with 10 points and have already qualified for the tournament ahead of South Africa and Libya.
Libya will host South Africa in the second group game in which winners takes all but a draw will be enough for the Bafana Bafana of South Africa to qualify for the tournament.
