In form Villarreal forward Karl Toko Ekambi been left out Coach Clarence Seedorf’s 23 man squad to face the Comoros Island in a decisive AFCON 2019 Qualifiers game in Yaounde.

Many have forgotten that the forward was sent off in Cameroon’s 2 nil defeat to Morocco in Cameroon’s last AFCON qualifier game late last year.

Ekambi,26,scorer of 12 goals in all competition for Villarreal was not available for selection despite being fit and in form.

The players called up by the Dutch Tactician include forwards;Jean Pierre Nsame(8 goals in 25 appearances for Young Boys Berne in Switzerland),Njie Clinton (3 goals in 16 appearances for OM in France),Joel Tagueu (3 goals for Maritimo in Portugal), Jacques Zoua(1 Goal in 15 games for Astra Giurgu in Romania), Stephane Bahoken (9 goals in 26 appearances for SC Angers in France), Christian Bassogog (1 goal for Hernan Jianye in China),Choupo Moting (2 goals in 24 appearances for PSG in France).

Stephane Bahoken cancelled a 15 minutes opener from El Fardou Ben Nabouhane with an 80th minutes goal in the reversed fixture.

The 7 attack minded players called up by Seedorf have 23 senior International goals with Choupo leading the block with his 14 goals in 48 appearances for country.
